Congratulations to Ken Reynolds & TJ Trout – winners of the 2018 Men’s Bowler of the Year tournament. Ken Reynolds came into the stepladder as the top seed, and beat Brian Beuhl in the championship match. Ray Beltz finished 3rd, followed by John Daley. TJ Trout rounded out the top 5 – but was also crowned Scratch Division champion. Complete results are posted below.

Our next Youth tournament will be the Bowler of the Year tournament which takes place on Sunday, February 18th @ 1 pm.

Congratulations to the Greater Schuylkill USBC Youth All Star Team for winning the 6th Annual Bowling Center Championship (PJBT Bowling Series). The event took place at Parkway Lanes in Allentown, PA. Brad Brown and Alec Carl represented Pine Lanes, while Taylor Benner, Corey Rinda and Brandon Updike represented Strike Zone Alleys. Each bowler received $200 in scholarship, as well as championship trophy. Both Strike Zone Alleys and Pine Lanes received $250 to go towards their youth programs.

The Greater Schuylkill USBC is inviting all youth members to compete in our no-tap tournament on Sunday, November 26th at Strike Zone Alleys. 1 in 4 participants will receive scholarship prizes, as well as a trophy for the winner. For those bowlers in the association that are looking for additional competition, you should check out Kegler’s Pro Shop 2017-2018 Tournament Series. There are a total of six events, all hosted by Strike Zone Alleys. All tournaments are handicap events, but will offer a scratch division. Both scratch and handicap brackets will also be available.
